Sometimes I amaze myself. I woke up this morning, created an eight-page study guide for my Italian midterm, ate lunch, and completed my six-page paper. I can now make a nice dinner and .. ready for it? START PACKING.<3
Last-Minute
I’ve been a busy bee trying to get everything I need, packing, etc. I pretty much have all the clothes and shoes I want to bring in a huge pile on top of my suitcases, but I guess I need to do more than just that. Figuring out which shoes to bring was way more difficult. It’s really good I had Lauren there to help me (ie, tell me “No, you do not need four pairs of heels, knee-high boots, knee-high boots with heels, and regular boots.”). I have it down to three pairs of flats, three pairs of heels, flip flops, sneakers, comfy sandals, and my knee-highs.
Packing my clothes was surprisingly easy. I kept the mindset that I could only pack clothes that I could layer as it gets colder. After I finished, I realized that the majority of my clothes were white, gray, ivory, and black. I can always go shopping for colors in Milano, I guess.
I’ve made a to-do list. What’s left? Actually packing my clothes in my suitcase, starting/finishing the paper that’s due for my summer internship, and figuring out and printing photos I’d like to bring with me. I tried to yesterday, but it only made me sad. I guess I should get started on that!
